Jonalyn Perkins
Born and raised in Hawai‘i, Jonalyn first discovered her love for photography along the coastlines of the islands. Her journey began with ocean photography, where every shot told a story of serenity, and life.
In 2025, she made the bold move to California and, within her first month here, co-founded Kailahil with her partner. Together, they set out to bring the warmth, spirit, and visual storytelling of the islands to the mainland.

Nicholas Bali
Started a creative journey over 10 years ago in music as a DJ, music producer, and audio engineer. Broke into the film and photo industry after working on the world’s first Fijian film released exclusively in theaters, which jumpstarted a career in photo and videography.
Focuses mainly on color grading as a colorist, along with handling technical aspects like minor adjustments and business operations. Works alongside Jonalyn, who leads behind the camera, combining creative vision with technical precision.
